What are we looking for?

General Qualifications

SPECIFIC AND REQUIRED SKILLS RELATED TO THE POSITION

 Know-how

-  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Department and IWE Engineer Certificate

-  Problem solving skills: methodology (DMAIC, QRQC) & analysis tools (5 Whys, D-FMEA, 5M…)

-  At least 5 years of experience in production environment preferably in welding and painting,

-  Experience about PQR, WPS, Welder Test and Certification based on EN Codes,

-  Ensuring that welding processes adhere to specifications and codes,

-  Experience in macro and visual welding controls,

-  Have good technical drawing reading skills

-  Computer knowledge: MS Office

-  Good level in English

Behavioural skills (in line with the 7 principles)

-  Autonomous, capable of evaluating risks correctly, taking initiatives,

-  Rigorous and armed with strong attention faculties notably in selective and sustained attention when working in chaotic environments with numerous stimulants,

-  Knows when and how to prioritize, skillful in managing various tasks,

-  Eloquent, easy-going, empathetic and good listener,

-  Experienced in working with various departments, evaluate & challenge requests,

-  Being able to adapt to different working culture (factories & customers),

-  Self-aware and resilient when faced with problems,

-  Analytical, rational and able to break down a complex problem via problem-solving methods.

Job Description

-  Create and monitor key performance indicators (WPS, PQR, etc.)

-  Develop, capitalize and share the know-how for himself and the plant (standards, training, qualification of welders…)

-  Problem solving in case of quality complaint, defects or breakdowns

-  Improve the individual and collective competencies of the factory

-  Follow and optimize raw material and consumables consumption

-  Research and homologate new supplier/material with Purchaser

-  Participate as an expert in various projects: new product, machine and process evolution etc.

-  Investigates on his own to find new technical process solutions (innovation, suppliers etc…)
