Role Description

  • We are seeking an Export Sales Specialist for a full-time on-site role located in Basaksehir. As an Export Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for implementation of sales strategies determined by managers in target countries.
  • Developing and supporting relationships, maintaining and increasing sales volumes.
  • Execution and follow-up of the process from taking the order of our customers who want to order directly to the collection.
  • Providing answers and offers in the most accurate way to those who describe their project or give project details or ask about the BOQ or ask about the features and suitability of any of our products for purchase, by discussing with the necessary departments.
  • Following up the problems of customers who are defective, delayed, waiting for new product information, having problems with the system (related to product code, barcode, label, etc.) to the relevant people and providing the relevant answers personally, in order to keep customer satisfaction at the maximum level.
  • Calling existing active or inactive customers that need to be contacted just to keep things cool.
  • Researching the reasons and root causes of the products in our product range that are not purchased, ensuring that they are purchased, and if not, finding alternative customers who will purchase those products by reaching a mutual consensus.
  • Ensuring the growth of the market network by finding opportunity contacts (Qualified Lead) (distributors, wholesalers, dealers) through various research methods and sources.
  • Keeping the business plans, forecasts and targets determined quarterly up to date by discussing them first with the manager and then with the customer (including the manager).
  • Carrying out the necessary follow-ups, actions and executions to achieve the sales targets determined in the countries responsible.
  • Presenting the needed business solution, project and products.
  • Preparing price offers, sending them to the customer and following them up.
  • Following and executing all processes from submitting the offer to receiving the order, from production to delivery to the customer and collection.
  • Verifying that the products are delivered in accordance with the demands of the commercial partners and that the delivery dates are met.
  • Researching and examining fairs and seminars in the countries responsible.
  • Providing after-sales services.
  • Asking about customer satisfaction after sales.
  • Providing regular, planned and systematic reporting to managers regarding all processes. Preparation of presentations and documents. (Reports should be clear, issues should not remain in the air and there should be no ambiguities)

Qualifications

  • Must be Turkish citizen
  • Resident on the European side of Istanbul
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in international sales in the electrical, electronics, construction or building automation sector.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal (mandatory); additional languages are a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and distributors
  • Familiar with international regulations, customs, and trade procedures
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and increasing revenue
  • Familiarity with market trends, competitor analysis, and market research
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Understanding the KNX standard and its applications (mandatory)
