DevOps Engineer (Aws)

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing our infrastructure and deployment processes on the AWS platform, including serverless Lambda functions, DynamoDB databases, and containerized microservices. You will also be responsible for implementing infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, managing version control using GitHub, and implementing static code analysis and security testing tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS, including serverless Lambda functions, DynamoDB databases, and containerized microservices
• Automate and optimize build, deployment, and configuration management processes using CloudFormation, Docker, and GitHub
• Implement and maintain a CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitHub Actions, including static code analysis and security testing using tools such as SonarQube and Snyk
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of the SaaS platform
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of AWS, including experience with CloudFormation, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS/Fargate
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes, including experience with container orchestration and deployment
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. ansible, Terraform) and infrastructure as code using CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and delivery practices using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or CircleCI, including experience with static code analysis and security testing tools such as SonarQube and Snyk
• Experience with version control using GitHub
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
