QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort, which is known for its wide vision and always open to development; is looking for ''ORDER TAKER'' who has the following qualifications.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hospitality, Tourism and Hotel, Food and Beverage Management degree or equivalent preferred
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in the similar role operation in an International/Luxury Hotels
  • Fluent ability of speaking, reading, writing and understanding Turkish and English. Additional language is a plus
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
  • Requires good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of Micros and related systems
  • Must have the ability to develop, write and utilize standards, working procedures and training tools
  • Must have the ability to efficiently develop a team
  • Have a strong working knowledge of F&B
  • Have a strong product knowledge

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Order Taker is required to perform assigned duties with courtesy, safety, and efficiency, adhering to the policies and procedures of Maxx Royal Bodrum, thereby maintaining a consistently high level of service.
  • Collaborates with the In-Room Dining team, overseeing operations and ensuring the maintenance of standards, and continually maximizing guest satisfaction.
  • The Order Taker is responsible for all operational equipment within the designated work station.
  • Attends to guests, taking, recommending, and confirming a variety of food and beverage orders, ensuring orders are arranged in accordance with the requested type and service standards. Provides information about menu selections and responds to inquiries. Immediately notifies guests and management of any delays in service delivery. Provides service to guests conveying specific meal requirements, allergies, dietary preferences, and special requests to the kitchen. Ensures the consistent cleanliness of work areas throughout the day. Documents transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order placement. In addition to completing order transactions, finalizes all closing reports, including MICROS reports. Effectively manages the processing of all payment methods.
