We are looking for a Pastry Demi Chef for our Sheraton Istanbul Hotel, which belongs to Güray Gayrimenkul, located in Esenyurt.

Required Skills

• Should have at least 2 to 3 years culinary experience with a basic knowledge of relevant cooking methods for the section employed in.
• Approaches pastry in a creative way
• Extensive pastry technical knowledge and current culinary trends
• Ability to maintain an extremely sanitary environment while working
• Ability to communicate effectively with the team
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent planning and organising skills
• Dedicated to the delivery of exceptional service and continuous improvement

Job Description

• Ensuring production in the hotel at high standards
• Coordinates and directs all aspects of the hotel pastry & bakery operation and collaborates with the Food and Beverage team and all necessary stakeholders to achieve marketing and business goals and objectives.
• Maintains and set adherence standards for product quality, consistency, presentation, portioning, garnishment, and utilization goals
• Plan production to facilitate daily requirements
• Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
