Vehicle Integration Engineer

We are looking for a teammate with the following features for our company, which offers global design and engineering solutions.

·         BS or higher degree in Mechanical /Automotive Engineering

·         Have special interest in vehicle systems and practical knowledge

·         Min 2 years knowledge of automotive product development, including creating requirements, DVPs, DFMEAs, component and vehicle testing and other fundamental system engineering standards (preferred)

·         Have project management experience or training

·         Have ability to get projects complete from ideation, to sourcing to product launches

·         Have knowledge of manufacturing processes pertaining to commercial or passenger vehicles

·         Ability to navigate the complexities and deliver projects on time, at cost, and at quality standards that are expected in the automotive space

·         Have experience in driving (related to automobile and motor sports is preferred)

·         Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English

·         Good communication, presentation and planning skills

·         Willingness to frequent and long term travel abroad

·         To be residing in Kocaeli or Istanbul Anatolian Side

·         PC literate and proficient with the use of MS Office products

JOB DESCRIPTION

•         Examine and interpret tender documents and determine the effects specific to the relevant technical team.

•         Carry out benchmark studies within the scope

•         Evaluate customer expectations, regulations, tender requests, benchmark studies and set vehicle level targets.

•         Contribute to necessary system and component design process in line with vehicle targets

•         Prepare and follow up virtual and physical design verification plans (DVP&R, T&D Time Plan)

•         Lead prototype parts procurement and assembly processes

•         Lead prototype sign-off process; determining the scope, providing coordination and reporting

•         Manage prototype re-work process; identify the systems affected by the re-work, collect approvals and record

•         Record problems that arise during the vehicle development process, provide leadership to the engineering teams in solving highly complex problems, following the solutions all the way through to implementation to ensure that issues are truly closed

•         Evaluate the design and prototype vehicles from the perspective of the customer and prepare evaluation reports

•         Set vehicle weight targets with the design teams, consolidate weight tables, check the realization of system level targets, make weight reduction suggestions, measure prototype vehicle weight

•         Evaluate weight and NVH impact of engineering releases and determine the need for validation

•         Ensure commissioning of product development releases made after SOP(Start of Production).

•         Prepare vehicle user manuel documents.
