Portfolio Leader

We are looking for a Portfolio Leader with the following qualifications to work in the Sabancı University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative.

In this role the incumbent will get to join a team which is currently expanding and working to provide the startups with exceptional project management of their portfolios.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Act as Portfolio Leader for overall coordination and management of Inovent’s Startup and IP Portfolios
• Managing and leveraging the lifecycle of initiatives, programs, projects, and outcomes to optimally achieve the Startups’ goals and objectives
• Reporting on performance of the portfolio to the General Manager.
• Responsible for ensuring scope, budgets and schedules are on track for their overall portfolio 
• Provide help and guidance to Inovent Partnerships & Business Development and Scouting teams

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (or related)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working within the field of Portfolio Management / Project Management with at least 5 years managing major capital projects. Experience will cover engineering, budgeting, planning, procurement, contracting and scheduling activities. 
• Preferably Project Management Certified (PMI) 
• Proven ability to perform within a management capacity 
• In-depth and strong knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required 
• Candidate must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project 
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
