Wyser is the international company within Gi Group Holding in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are looking for a "Project Manager'' for our global client operating in automotive industry, which is located in İzmir.

Job Description

• Managing cross-functional APQP team as per IATF 16949 and APQP requirements in order to ensure the integrity and robustness of new product launch (Project budget, timing, and product quality are the leading metrics for success)
• Supervising 3D modeling, 2D drafting, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up calculations
• Starting, leading, and finalizing the Engineering Change Process for new products and components
• Managing all product and process-related technical issues with suppliers during components development
• Coordinating tooling, prototyping, sampling, and inspection/testing processes for new products
• Leading the acquisition process of materials and services required within projects
• Reviewing and approving supplier PPAP’s for new programs
• Preparing PPAP submissions to the customer with the help of other functions for new launches
• Leading internal/external project meetings as well as multi-disciplinary APQP team meetings
• Organizing Technical Review Board (TRB) meetings as defined in the APQP process flow
• Supporting capital development plans and management presentations
• Managing customer relations in terms of technical aspects and product development
• Supporting Quality Department for customer complaints and engineering changes in serial production, Process Department for process development and improvement, Purchasing Department in supplier selection and improvement
• Assisting CI activities related to product design and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years experience in the automotive sector
• Advanced level of English is a must
• Technical background in project management
• Knowledge about technical drawings, geometrical tolerances, stack up, and statistical control
• Experienced in customer and supplier management
• Ability to multi-task and deal with different projects in various stages of design, project, or serial phase for different customers
• Knowledge about MS Project
